Meet the team behind the scenes of Supportive Solutions

It's long been said that an organisation is only as good as its people, so based on that saying, Supportive Solutions really must be an awesome company. Here we meet the team that work hard behind the scenes to bring you the fantastic range and quality of courses you receive.


Alastair

Alastair is a Director of Supportive Solutions, looks after the team and oversees all aspects of the business.


As well as Alastair's role of Director, he is a member of the British Psychological Society and is passionate about the training he delivers.


Alastair delivers the following courses both online and in-person, when possible:

  • Post-incident stress debrief

  • Stress management

  • Psychological first aid

  • Moving and handling train the trainer.

On a personal note, Alastair is married to Pauline and has two very “butch” dogs. They are cockapoos named Harry and Rosie.


Pauline

Pauline is another Director at Supportive Solutions and helps Alastair out with the day-to-day running of the business.


Pauline's primary role is ensuring the administration of certificates is completed. This is a crucial role within the business as Supportive Solutions is an accredited training provider. These accreditations are:

Pauline is also married to Alastair and works hard to ensure Alastair is kept in line!


Dawn

Dawn is our External Verifier and Quality Assurance. She works hard behind the scenes with training products as well as QA for First Aid trainers.


Dawn is also an internal verifier and workplace assessor. Supportive Solutions gained SQA accreditation and approval to deliver 4 SVQ qualifications in Health & Social Care ( adults and children & young people) at levels 2 & 3. Supportive Solutions can also deliver foundation modules that are required within Modern Apprenticeship. Dawn is also the SQA SVQ coordinator.


On top of all that, Dawn can deliver First Aid, Access to Care and Fire Awareness. She has previous experience in the delivery of Medication, Epilepsy, Food Hygiene, H&S, CSE and County Lines.


Emma


Emma is our Social Media Manager and has a varied background in marketing, management, recruitment and training delivery working in sectors such as recruitment, welfare to work and youth offending. Emma provides virtual support to supportive solutions in a variety of ways such as online course creation, social media management, copywriting, blogging, web design and video editing.
