based on the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) training standard for delivery of Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) courses for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981
Course Overview
You'll cover a whole range of topics, giving you the skills and confidence you need to deal with an Emergency First Aid Workplace situation at work.
Practical assessments will be observed by the Trainer throughout the course. There are 4 mandatory and 1 optional practical assessment for this qualification:

CPR and safe use of an AED

Choking casualty

Unconscious casualty
-
Wounds, bleeding, and shock

Optional extra – Catastrophic bleeding
There is 1 theory paper, and all questions are to be answered under examination conditions.
