Sepsis Awareness
This training course will help the learner to understand what Sepsis (also known as blood poisoning) is and how it affects the system. Normally our immune system fights infection – but sometimes, it attacks our body’s own tissues and organs. If not treated immediately, sepsis can result in multiple organ failure and death. With early diagnosis, it can be treated with antibiotics. This course aims to provide attendees with sepsis awareness and an understanding of how to recognise potential early warning signs.
