What's coming up next month
The last month has been a busy one, so let's dive straight in...
Welcome to our new facilitators
Amanda has been a Coach and therapist since 2007. She has extensive experience in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Coaching, NLP, training workshops and facilitating groups at her practice Hunky Dory Life. Amanda is a specialist in confidence, stress management and personal performance, using a combination of sensitivity and humour to enthuse and empower people. She has worked with actors, musicians, top-level executives, charities and professionals across many business sectors.
Her interest in behaviour modification began during her 25-year career working with adults with a learning disability and/or autism who often displayed challenging behaviours. She researched different ways of modifying unhelpful and unwanted behaviours and, with this in mind, changed career and studied to become a therapist, coach and trainer.
Amanda will be helping Alastair facilitate and develop the post-incident stress debrief course as well as developing new courses.
Suzanne is the newest member of the Supportive Solutions family and is super passionate about Management Development and Training.
These will be the main courses that Suzanne will be delivering. Keep a watch for more information coming soon, Suzanne is so new that she has joined whilst being on holiday, so I will be bringing you some more information about Suzanne soon.
Have a great holiday Suzanne!
We are thrilled to announce our latest partnership with Edinburgh College. The partnership will bring our industry-leading training courses to new audiences in the Edinburgh area.
Edinburgh College has a strong focus on adult education, and it is this which we identify with and which we hope to help support through the partnership. We're really pleased that both organisations can share knowledge and develop skills in an exciting new way.
We will be providing a wide range of courses such as Mental Health, Safeguarding Adults and Children, Moving and Handling for Care and Epilepsy Awareness.
This expansion of courses was due to customer requests for more robust learning that helps them develop their skills and improve their lives.
We are so excited to be expanding our range of courses into areas such as mental health programmes, management, and leadership. These new courses are already available, and we can’t wait to provide you with all the tools you need for success. We hope that these new courses will help you grow in different aspects of your business and be a source of inspiration for other people.
Supportive Solutions Director, Alastair Robertson, said
Mental health and wellbeing should be high on everyone's agenda at this time and we are delighted to be offering Mindfulness courses as well as Stress Management and Post Incidient Stress Debrief
